LIFE AFTER SIX
I read one article about "life after six"
Previously that is 15years back when working after six means overtime and extra bonus.
But now you can not pack your bags at six except school, and banks and some other normal office except
corporate office
In fact 44% of the surveyed employees claim that they lack social life, no wonder that half of them seek a virtual social life at networking sites like Facebook, Orkut etc.
In India work-life balance is a major concern. How to address this issue?

- HAVE A FIXED 8 HOURS WORKING LIMIT WITH SUFFICIENT BREAKS IN BETWEEN
- HAVE MEDITATION, YOGA OR OTHER RELAXATION TECHNIQUES TAUGHT IN OFFICE
- CORPORATE OUTINGS WITH FAMILIES SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED
- IF SOMEBODY SHOWS SIGNS OF A JOB BURNOUR, GIVE THEM A BREAK

A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION BETWEEN NATIONS
On June 13, 2011 Iskcon guru Radhanath Swami was invited to meet with the President of United States Mr.Barack Obama at an event in Miami Florida/
Radhanath Swami was grateful to accept the invitation on behalf of his beloved guru, Srila Prabhupada and dedicated the meeting to his beloved god brother Bhakti Tirtha Swami.
The president and the Swami had a beautiful, heartfelt talk for several minutes.
It is special that last year Radhanath swami was invited to meet the President of India Ms.Pratibha Patil.
Iskcon feel that the two meetings signal an auspicious spiritual connection between the United States of Americal and Mother India.

FREE SWAYAMVARAM (free marriage) FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED
The Tamilnadu Physically Handicapped Federation Charitable Trust is organising State-level free Swayamvaram (free marriage) for differently abled person.
According to a press release, applications are invited from normal person, who are willing to marry differently abled persons.
Interested person (differently abled/normal person) can collect applications forms from Shree Geeta Bhavan, 334, Avvai Shanmugam Salai, Gopalapuram, Chennai 600 086 or from the Tamilnadu Physically Handicapped Federation Charitable trust,at 21 AA, Lake View Road, Kottur, Chennai 600 085.
They can also write to Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust with full address for application form and it should be submitted before 4th September 2011
